Step into the nursery and see the babies...
Kittens are most wonderful creatures on earth - only surpassed by a dignified old cat.
Raising them is always a heartwarming experience and very often heartbreaking when things go wrong. But no matter how long
one breeds, the miracle of birth is always - a miracle.
This little boy is a baby Munchkin. He hasn't got a name yet as his owner-to-be and myself are still
at loggerheads about it. He is one of a litter of three Munchkins - quite a mean feat.
Makatini is a Scottish Fold kitten. When they are born, the ears are 'normal' and at three weeks of age some of the kittens' ears
will fold over. There is a 50% chance of Foldies in a litter, but as genetics are very willful, you never know.
Turkish Van kittens are incredibly bright and very curious - as this picture shows. They already show an
interest in water long before they are weaned. Its important that new owners of this breed keep on encouraging the interest in water games to
as many 'city cats' don't have access to natural water sources.
A tiny LaPerm kitten where the definite curly coat is already very clear. The curl of the LaPerm is a dominant
gene unlike most other Rex breeds and using a domestic cat as an outcross is totally acceptable.
